DESCRIPTION
The Site is located near Sutherland CBD. It was intended to develop the site to create two 4 bedrooms attached dwellings. The land shall be subdivided to separate titles.
The ground level is stepped down to follow the site slope. Additionally, the rear ground roof section is elevated to increase ceiling height to 3.3m. Strip highlight windows were created above the alfresco roof level to improve natural lighting within the living spaces.
The low pitched colorbond cladded roof is concealed behind front parapet walls. Several materials and colours are proposed for the façade including a mix of brick, Hardie cladding range, renders and paint. The façade design aimed to reduce the effects of the dwellings attachment and to provide a distinct appearance for each unit.
